There are a few JD and other tractors on Ebay that are located overseas (portugal, france, germany, lebenon, etc.) They are scams, don't fall for them. You can usually tell by two characteristics; price is much too low, sell will pay all shipping costs.

Other red flags are you will need to be an approved buyer which will force direct email contact, they will want you to send them a Money Order, and they say they have the Titles in a bank vault so they can not give you the serial numbers.
Since when did tractors have titles!!
If you see these report them to EBAY and they will take them off and investigate. Be careful, these sellers are acquiring EBAY userids which show good ratings. ....

The latest scam now I'm told is that the crooks have started companies that sound, or appear to be, escrow agents.
The way the scam works is they put up a product for a 'too good to be true' price, then tell the mark that they are as honest as the day is long and to prove it they say to send your money to this escrow company and when you have, and are completely satisfied with the product, call the escrow company and have the money released.
According to a friend in law enforcement a good-sized business here got taken for a LOT of money this way, they thought they were buying production machinery from a bankruptcy, in fact the scammer had taken pictures during a tour of the facility and the company was just under Chapter 11 protection, not bankrupt. The scammers had established a company name so close to the name of a genuine escrow agent that they din't catch the mistake till it was too late.
I'm told the simplest way to ensure you're not getting taken is to say you are driving to the seller to see it, pay for it, and pick it up. If it's a put-on, the seller will disappear faster than you could believe.
I've bought stuff off e-Bay that way, an honest seller will gladly meet you in the parking lot of Wally World or some such place.
